Both Individuals and organisations are encouraged to donate to the Coorong Environmental Trust, approach us to discuss sponsorship, enter into funding agreements for specific projects or talk to us about leading a lasting legacy via a bequest.
Projects we are currently seeking funding for include (but are not limited to) sponsorship of annual science forums, quarterly Science In the Pub events, the establishment of a floating buoy monitoring system within the Coorong and micro-trials of macrophyte re-establishment.
Fundraising
The trust is independent of any arm of government and as such does not receive any ongoing government funding. A function of the trust is to raise money so that it can carry out its functions with financial independence.
How to Donate
No matter how big or small your donation is, it will go towards provision of the trusts functions and its aim to protect, preserve and improve the ecology of the Lakes and Coorong Ramsar site.
